How can we continue to outpace our competitors?

The M&T Program can remain the best of its kind and compete directly with other top notch opportunities —if we are able to fully capitalize upon the assets that only our program can offer.

·        M&T Community:  M&T students are more involved and cohesive than ever before, sponsoring many special events and programs throughout the academic year aimed at their interests but also on fostering a close knit community environment.

With upgraded and expanded facilities and programs we will be able to further encourage this community building.  Both current and prospective students frequently note this as a particularly attractive feature of the Program, and in contrast to opportunities offered at other universities.

·

MMM&T Alumni Network:  When we look to our peer institutions, none can offer the strength of a dedicated alumni network of more than 1,700 alumni worldwide.  Through a series of targeted pilot initiatives, M&T alumni are increasingly involved in a variety of important ways—from mentoring and admissions interviewing to participating in student-sponsored roundtable discussions, informal seminars and formal class discussions.  Many alumni also offer internship and/or permanent employment opportunities to M&T students, further enhancing the value of the M&T experience. Expansion of these opportunities for increased alumni engagement will significantly strengthen the Program in the future and enable us to continue to outpace our competitors.
